He embarked on his journey with GEA in 1999, just a few months after earning his honors degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. He furthered his education with two specialization courses at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and the London Business School. Over the years, Marco has gained in-depth experience on supply chain matters, through various projects with industrial companies, major retailers, and third-party logistics operators. He has also developed expertise on product development processes, particularly within the food sector. His ability to tackle strategic and organizational challenges, combined with an analytical and quantitative approach, sets him apart. This approach has been honed, especially in the realm of analyzing processes and computer procedures to provide robust support. He carried out teaching activities related to supply chain topics collaborating with the IML, International Institute of Logistics at the Federal Polytechnic of Lausanne and with the Publitalia Master. He is a member of the Technical Committee of the magazine “Logistica”. Since 2011 he has been a Partner of GEA and has held the position of Managing Director since 2023.

Graduated with honors in Management Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2007, our accomplished professional went on to earn a Ph.D. in 2011, specializing in Operations Managemen.

During his academics years, he actively contributed to numerous research projects and publications, making a significant impact on the teaching environment of the School of Management.

Despite a more limited role, his commitment to teaching continues today, both at the Polytechnic of Milan – where he continues to collaborate as a Lecturer at the Business School and undergraduate courses – and at IML (EPFL Lausanne).
Since joining GEA in 2011, he has been instrumental in leading various projects within Operations Management. His experiences range from shop floor optimization to overhauling complex logistic networks.

Over the years, he has developed strong expertise in Sales & Operations Planning processes, delving into various interconnected themes such as production planning, managing product range complexity, demand forecasting, and retail planning.

In these projects, he guides clients through all phases, from the redesigning organizational structures and processes to selecting and implementing support tools.
His areas of specialization lie prominently in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Fashion, with extensive experience in textiles, apparel, and luxury goods.

He holds a degree in Business Economics, a full time MBA at SDA Bocconi and a PMD at IMD in Lausanne; he has been with GEA since 1987. He began his professional career with numerous projects in the development of planning and control systems within companies, concurrently implementing ERP-type computer tool. He has expertise in Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management and Industrial Accounting. He has specialized in the analysis and improvement of administrative processes, adapting lean methodologies. Strategically, he has focused on improving corporate performance and reorganization, even in crisis contexts. He has been involved in M&A operations carrying out evaluations of companies and business segments, as well as contributing to business and financial due diligence for target companies.  His expertise spans consumer goods, fashion, retail and durable consumer goods. On a personal note, he is an angel investor in innovative startups.

As a Partner of the Strategy and General Management area, he holds a degree in engineering from the Polytechnic of Lausanne, MBA from the IMD of Lausanne.

He has gained profound experience both in Italy and abroad in managing strategic and operational review projects, business development and subsequent implementation support. He works for entrepreneurial groups and large companies on strategic planning, medium-term plan development and turnarounds, business valuations, business due diligence, and decision analysis.

He has also served as CEO, General Manager, and CFO, leading recovery and development plans for Italian and Swiss companies.

He teaches at the IML Master (EPFL) on topics of strategy and organizational design, supply chain strategy and finance.

He is fluent Italian, French, English.

He has attended multiple training and research programs at Harvard Business School and Stanford University. Fabrizio works with Italian companies distinguishing themselves in the global market for competitiveness and results, assisting management in combining innovation and efficiency. Industrial restructuring, launching new product platforms, and implementing new organizational structures are themes on which he daily contributes his experience, lateral vision, and enthusiasm. He is a part-time lecturer in the MBA program at MIP in the Product Innovation area and has been a lecturer in the MBA program at Bocconi in the Technology and Operations area. He is responsible for the Designing Supply Chain Management course at IML in Paris. He collaborates with professors from Harvard Business School and MIT on projects for GEA clients. He was the President of ELC (European Logistic Consultants). In his limited free time, Fabrizio climbs mountains and runs marathons. At one point, he even crossed oceans in solo regattas.

Guido, who graduated in Engineering in 1996, after a short period of business experience and an MBA, joined GEA in 1999 to focus on consulting activities, developing his own career path in operations, to which he added significant experience in sales and organisational issues. Over the years he has worked with more than 30 major clients in the FMCG and consumer durables, services and renewable energy sectors. In particular, he is an expert in business process reviews and associated organisational change management, logistics asset reviews and the implementation of outsourcing projects. He has also developed specific skills in the redesign of complex commercial and distribution networks, using an innovative approach.

In his long experience, Tito has assisted leading companies in various sectors and product segments (household durables, food/non-food consumer goods, textiles/clothing, …) and operating at different levels of the value chain (primary processing industry, manufacturing industry, third-party logistics, wholesale and retail distribution) in strategic re-launch projects, operational efficiency and internal reorganisation.
He has an in-depth knowledge of business processes and in particular of purchasing, production and distribution logistics.
He is the creator of an innovative approach to the redesign of distribution and commercial networks and is co-author of a book on supply chain management and several articles on the subject of operations.
He is a strategic advisor for a number of leading companies in the food, household durables and third-party logistics sectors.
In GEA since 1991, he served as Managing Director from 2009 to 2023 and is now its Chairman.

Lorenzo Boscarelli holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (1973) and an MBA from INSEAD (1977). He began his professional journey at Olivetti S.p.A. from 1974 to 1976, where he worked as an Organization Analyst and later led a Production department. In GEA he currently serves as a senior partner. Since joining the company in 1976, he has devoted his career to consultancy, with a primary focus on Operations and Organization. He has collaborated extensively with renowned Italian companies, particularly in the FMCG and durable goods sectors, driving projects aimed at enhancing industrial competitiveness. He is the author of “Success with Operations” (1993) and co-author of “The Balance Sheet for the Eighties” (1981). In addition to his consultancy work, he shares his expertise as a lecturer for the “Production Strategy” course at the prestigious Politecnico di Milano.

Ugo Cedrangolo, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, started his career focusing on technical-scientific issues. He later shifted to management, continuing his studies in the UK, USA, and at IMD in Lausanne, where he earned an MBA. Joining GEA in 1972, Ugo played a crucial role in the company’s development as Managing Partner for over 12 years. In this role, he initiated initiatives such as opening the GEA office in Boston, acting as a hub for Harvard and MIT, and spearheading GEA’s endeavors in new technologies.

He works with entrepreneurial groups and large companies, guiding them over time in areas such as strategy and organization, innovation, technology management, and industrial activities. He served as the president of ASSCO, the Association of Consulting Companies, and was a board member of the Federazione Terziario Avanzato. Currently, he is a board member of several companies and serves as the president of Cinecittà Entertainment. He is actively involved in teaching at the university level (Polytechnic of Milan) and in management schools (SDA, MIP, ISTUD, STOA). Ugo is an author of articles, cases, and the book “Management, frattali e pensées – Strategie nella prassi” (Il Sole 24 Ore).

A graduate with honours in Economics and Business from the University of Parma, he has been working in the pharmaceutical sector for over 25 years, having supported more than 35 client companies in their quest for growth and competitiveness through innovative market approaches, often positioning them as ‘first movers’ in the adoption of advanced commercial practices.
Throughout his decades of experience, he has been involved in implementing innovative go-to-market models, redesigning sales organisations, optimising commercial effectiveness, redesigning customer engagement models, advanced target segmentation, brand development through patient journey mapping and open innovation, and designing market access strategies, with a particular focus on HTA and value-based stakeholder management. He has also led development projects in market segments focused on population health management, the creation of Established Brands Units for mature brands, and expansion projects in the Generics & Value Medicines segment.
In various therapeutic areas – notably Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Syndrome, Respiratory Diseases, Central Nervous System Disorders, and Oncological and Urological Diseases – he is recognised as one of the leading experts at a national level.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, MBA from SDA Bocconi, PED from IMD in Lausanne, Gianpaolo Fascina has been an integral part of GEA since 1984. Gianpaolo Fascina has been an integral part of GEA since 1984. To cite some of his recent works: the development of a new business model for a leading company in the gaming & entertainment sector; the strategic reorganization of a significant consumer goods company, and the implementation of innovative services leveraging new technologies for a leading household appliances company, the development of IT Strategic Planning for a leading Italian multinational. As a lecturer, Gianpaolo shares his wealth of knowledge at renowned institutions such as Master Publitalia in Milan, EPFL (Lausanne), and IML (Lausanne). His commitment to education extends to his past role as a contract professor at the Polytechnic University of Marche. He has published multiple articles including “Augmented Approach to Information Technology” with J. Sviokla and B. Konsinsky of Harvard Business School. He has also undergone various training and research programs at Harvard Business School and MIT in Boston. He was president of the IMD Alumni Club of Italy.

Luciano has dedicated most of his professional career in GEA, joining the company in 1989, after gaining experience at Olivetti (1984-1987) and Andersen Consulting (1987-1989). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and a post-graduate from the IMD (PED) of Lausanne. With decades of experience at GEA Luciano Giannetti has collaborated with leading Italian and multinational companies in defining strategy, business development and reorganization projects. His focus has been primarily on the fashion and luxury, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), durables, and services sectors.

Degree in Economics and Commerce with specialisation in Marketing and Communication from the Catholic University of Milan.
Irene has held management positions in multinational companies operating in various sectors – FMCG, Cosmetics, Fashion, Sport – in the fields of Marketing, Media, Digital, Business Intelligence.

She has acquired in-depth knowledge of GD, e-com, retail and trade channels with a focus on omni-channel development.
With a deep understanding of consumer dynamics, her focus is always on market share and sales growth.

For the multinational companies she has worked for, she has led international reorganisation projects with complex teams and has M&A experience, having participated in due diligence for the acquisition and integration of companies and brands.

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Catholic University of Milan, he also attended specialized courses at INSEAD and IESE Business School.

With a thirty-year experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector, he held the role of Commercial Director for over 20 years in a leading multinational company. He developed profound expertise in Sales and Trade Marketing, both at the national and international levels.

He possesses extensive knowledge in the relationships between Manufacturing Industry and major Italian Retailers for the development and launch of new products and access to various distribution channels. He has M&A experience, participating in various due diligence processes for the acquisition of companies and business units, along with subsequent integration management and business reorganization procedures.

During his career, he has held various institutional roles within ECR/GS1 and Centromarca. For over 10 years, he has been actively collaborating with prestigious academic institutions, including the University Cattolica of Piacenza, the Master in Digital Marketing Communication at Publitalia ’80, and the Master in Retail Brand & Digital Management at GS1 and the University of Parma.

He holds a degree in Physics from UCLA in Los Angeles and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne.
With more than 15 years of management consulting experience focused on strategy and business development, Paul has also held multiple C-level executive and board positions, combining strategic advisory work with hands-on operational leadership in organizations ranging from large multinational corporations to high-growth startups.
His expertise spans corporate strategy, business development, product strategy, and organizational transformation across a wide range of industries and international markets. He has led luxury consumer and beauty businesses throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with approximately half of his career spent living and working in Asia on international assignments.
Paul is fluent in English, Italian, German, and Croatian, and has working proficiency in French, Spanish, and Russian.

With degrees in Political Science and Psychology, Giorgio Preda excels in areas such as strategy and organizational structure, medium-term plans, and Human Resources development (distinctive competencies, areas of responsibility, evaluation systems, compensation plans, and career paths). He has worked for both industrial and service-oriented companies, as well as in cultural organizations. He is the founder and current Director of the Master in Digital Marketing and Communication at Publitalia ’80. He has also been part of the Scientific Committee and taught at the ESAS Master of the University of Pavia.
